#1 lacking much specific detail... just writes that his experience as a Young Ambassador has "significantly" shaped his understanding of environmental stewardship and civics
#2 - Good involvement but it isn't as altruistic as other applicants' (i.e. required volunteer hours (I know he exceeded them) + a school research project (would want to know if he is getting school credit or payment for this))
