Dauphin County Honors Wildheart Ministries Of Harrisburg Founders
(WHTM /ABC27) Thursday’s hometown heroes are a big asset in Harrisburg.
Dauphin County Commissioners honored the group Wildheart Ministries of Harrisburg and its founders Tannon and Cristina Herman. They received the first-ever “Keep Dauphin County Beautiful Award.”
The Hermans moved out of rural Oklahoma 16 years ago to an under-served area of Allison Hill.
They launched a clean-up effort called “Love the Hill” which motivated neighbors and attracted volunteers to clean up the neighborhood, removing tons of trash over the years.
