(Penn Live) Cumberland County Recycling & Waste and Vector Control departments are partnering with Keep Cumberland County Beautiful to host a second tire collection from 3 to 6 p.m. May 16 and May 17.

Residents need to pre-register online for a time and date to drop off tires at the county recycling center, 1001 Claremont Road, Carlisle.

Acceptable Items:

• Lawn and garden tires
• Car and truck tires
• Agricultural, tractor-trailer, and racing tires
• Tires on rims and tubes

Unacceptable Items:

• Shredded tires and tire pieces
• Tires filled with mud and debris
