Announcing the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful 2026 Annual Conference:
Connecting Nature, Community, and Equity
Join Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful on October 14–15, 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Reading for two days of inspiration, collaboration, and impact.
This annual gathering brings together affiliates, partners, volunteers, and supporters from across the Commonwealth to celebrate accomplishments, share innovative ideas, and strengthen our collective efforts to build cleaner, greener, and more equitable communities.
A special Thank You to Keep Reading Beautiful and the City of Reading for hosting the conference this year.
Conference Highlights:
- October 14: Kick off with a guided Reading Walking Tour, followed by an evening Reception to connect and network.
- October 15: The day begins at 8:00 AM with Registration and Breakfast, followed by engaging Keynote, Plenary Sessions, and Breakout Discussions.
- Returning by popular demand--Affiliates in the Shark Tank--a dynamic and interactive conference finale you won’t want to miss!

Annual Conference
The Conference celebrated 35 years of stewardship, sustainability, and environmental education; and offered an opportunity for affiliates, volunteers, partners, and supporters to review our past achievements, exchange insights and ideas, and grow collectively.
Keynote Speaker Dr. Lara Fowler from Penn State, gave uplifting remarks on building resilience and sustainability in communities during a time of extraordinary change and Jessica Shirley, Secretary at the PA Department of Environmental Protection spoke on the "The Importance of Grassroots Involvement in Community Improvement Efforts." The conference closed with Affiliates in the Shark Tank, a friendly competition inspired by the hit reality TV show. Each team pitched their most innovative and impactful community improvement ideas for a chance to secure a $3500 grant
