Michaux State Forest Officials Need Help Identifying Illegal Dumpers

(Fox 43) Mattresses, a sofa, a dresser and children’s playthings were among the items dumped in the Michaux State Forest.
Nearly three thousand pounds of trash was removed from the forest last week.
An official from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources says it was the largest incident of illegal dumping in some time.
“It was just in a really bad spot off a steep slope and a busy road, I guess making it for quick access for people to stop their car and throw everything down the side of the road,” said Meghan Clark.
More than a dozen people participated in the cleanup.
