National Pennsylvania Day Mini Grants from America250PA and EQT Corporation, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and in support of Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful

The Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial (America250PA) was established by the legislature and Governor in 2018 to plan, encourage, develop, and coordinate the 2026 commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, Pennsylvaniaโ€™s integral role in that event, and the impact of its people on the nationโ€™s past, present, and future.

Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful is proud to partner with America250PA in enhancing their volunteer component by supporting community improvement initiatives on National Pennsylvania Day, an annual observance that is celebrated on July 20th.

America250PA recognizes the impact that volunteerism has on our communities and is committed to encouraging every resident to participate. Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful is eager to support America250PA and their partners through this partnership.

Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Mini grants were available to existing America250PA partners conducting projects that improve the community and engages volunteers. Projects could include community cleanups, park improvements, revitalization efforts, river sweeps, graffiti abatement, murals, etc. Projects must engage community volunteers and be held on National Pennsylvania Day. The project location must be located in PA.

The 250th Commemoration allowed Pennsylvanians the opportunity to showcase the amazing people, places, and businesses that make them #PAPROUD. To ensure we captured the best the Commonwealth has to offer, it requires a statewide effort.
