Keep PA Beautiful: Coudersport One Of Many Projects Supported By Fresh Paint Days

PA Environment Digest – Coudersport Borough and its community partners, the Coudersport Lion’s Club, Coudersport Rotary, Adult Probation services and Northern Potter High School, recently worked together to paint the historic Coudersport & Port Allegheny Railroad Station that now houses borough offices and the police station.

The project was part of Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful’s Fresh Paint Days Program created in a partnership with Glidden Professional Paints and The Home Depot. 

The old railroad depot holds a special significance to the community.  It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.  Fifteen volunteers contributed over 200 volunteer hours to restore the historic depot to its original grandeur.
