The cleanup and prevention of litter is a focus issue of the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful alliance. The Litter-Free School Zone program is a way of encouraging students to keep their school grounds litter-free and help raise the public's awareness of the problem of litter. Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful provides participating schools with a "Litter-Free School Zone" sign to be placed outside the school as a way to encourage students, families, and neighbors to help keep their community clean and litter free.

Join in the 2007 Great PA Cleanup and become an integral part of Pennsylvania's initiative to clean up the State's roadways, parks, forests, riverbanks, neighborhoods, and open spaces. Click here for more information.
