Annie Weidman, in partnership with the Friendship Development Associates (FDA), accomplished three major projects over the course of the summer. The team landscaped Baum Grove Park and Friendship School's Playpark. They also helped pave the way for upwards of 27 street trees to be planted and managed the maintenance of numerous other trees. In addition, Annie and FDA organized several community improvement days.

Much of the work was accomplished by paid contractors, which enabled the team to produce highly visible results. In fact, Annie helped manage a $45,804 landscaping budget. Thanks to Annie's careful management of the budget and her dedication to the project, the landscaping improvements at Baum Grove Park and at Friendship school greatly improve the appearance of the neighborhood. Additionally, the project will result in dozens of new tree and shrub plantings in Friendship, Pittsburgh, over the next couple months.
