Meadville, Market Alley/Park Avenue

Allegheny College's Arts & Environment Initiative is partnering with the Redevelopment Authority, the city of Meadville and Community Alternatives, Inc. on the creation of a mural for Park Avenue in connection with the Market Alley Project, which will feature the city's first daylighting initiative for Mill Run, an urban stream that runs through the City. The mural will highlight Meadville's history as a mill town, and celebrate this small city nestled within a rural countryside. The mural will be implemented as a community "Painting - B" and will bring intergenerational groups in to assist in the painting of this 15' x 73' mural.
