Kennett Square, Historic East Linden
Urban Landscape Design Project

Kennett Square is nationally known for its mushrooms, Longwood Gardens, and a quaint downtown. This summer, interns will work with Kennett Square's Alliance for Better Housing to create sustainable landscaping and gardening designs for individual homeowners using native plant species.

Interns will work on five properties already selected by the Alliance for Better Housing's Safe, Clean & Green Committee. Each landscape and gardening project will engage members of the community and serve as a model for other Historic East Linden properties.
