Elizabethtown
Greening Education Program

Elizabethtown is a historic Pennsylvania town, located just east of Harrisburg and is home to many attractions including a Masonic Village.

Interns involved with this project will be working with interested businesses and residents to envision and implement greening strategies for the central corridors of the town. Greening could include small beautification projects like street planters, small flower pots, and hanging flower baskets. Interns will mobilize local youth programs to participate in the greening initiative and establish an educational component. The educational component will ensure that the adults and youth involved with the program will learn how to care for the improvements.
