Bradford
Gateway Park

Home of Zippo Lighters, the town of Bradford grew up around industry and is located in Northern Pennsylvania, close to New York. Despite a some disinvestment in the 1980's and 1990's, the core community remains very active and is excited about the project.

Interns at Bradford will be mobilizing local resources to create a gateway park and transform a vacant parcel of land into a clean and green space. Interns will be instrumental in working with their community partners to ensure that maintenance plans are in place for spaces.
