Illegal Dump/Litter Cleanup in Allegheny County, sponsored by Allegheny CleanWays - this cleanup is taking place on Gold Way and Melwood Avenue on Polish Hill. We are returning to this site to finish the job we started in early November.  We'll be meeting at the cul-de-sac on lower Melwood Avenue and clearing out the dumpsite below.  Volunteers are encouraged to wear work shoes or boots and to dress appropriately for cold weather.  We may cancel if there's heavy snow and will post a rescheduled date here.  For more information, contact Kyle Yeversky at 412-381-1301 or e-mail.

Illegal Dump/Litter Cleanup sponsored by Keep York County Beautiful - Volunteers are needed to help clean up illegal dumpsites along Stillhouse Road in Newberry Township and Railroad Street in Goldsboro Borough.  All volunteers should dress for safety by wearing long pants and sturdy shoes. Youth volunteers ages 12 - 17 must sign a waiver form with a signed parental consent prior to the cleanup.  Safety vests, gloves, and garbage bags will be provided as well as lunch and refreshments.  Volunteers should meet at Stillhouse Road, north of Goldsboro Borough at 8 AM.  For directions and more information, please contact Tom Smith at 717-840-2375 or e-mail.
